A some point I had bought a Regal Duolian all metal resonator guitar, so naturally it was time for another blues!

I crafted this one after a lot of SRV and Elmore James influence.

I've tried my hand at writing lots of blues songs with out very good results but this one turned out OK, not great ,mind you, but OK. I hope I quit while I'm ahead.

As far as the intro, Steve Lussie showed up at my studio one day and played me a little blues riff idea he was working on (the part on A). I took that idea and evolved it into the intro on this. As soon as Steve heard this he gives me a look and says Hey thats the part I showed you! Don't worry, Steve, neither of us are gonna get rich off of this blues riff.

In regards to my slide playing. I know, i know. Its rough. Its the best I could do, I just improvised it for the most part because I knew the more I tried the worse it would get. I am not a slide player, so I just was praying for a little beginners luck. I did the same with the B-Bender stuff on "I Keep Tryin'"

My apologies to Lyle Lovett for stealing that line, "I been holding you girl, who what I dont know"

Ok enough of the disclaimers lol.

oh wait, one more, I always loved CLaptons Lay Down Sally where he solo's over one chord so thats what I did for the end solo.
